After a long 3.5 years on the last fronier, I'm finally defrosting in Augusta, Georgia. Although I miss the friends I made while I was in Alaska, Georgia has cozied up to me and offered comfort in the short month that I have been here. Also, thanks to technology, I can keep in touch easily with those near and dear to me up north! Now that the dust is starting to settle from the move, I feel alot of inspiration from the Southern landscape. I especially like the trees with Spanish Moss and climbing Ivy. The swampy areas seem to stir my imagination as well. I think i'm going to like it here.
